Position Overview:

CultivAid is seeking a skilled and experienced Bookkeeper up to Balance. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring compliance with local financial regulations and CultivAid’s policy. The role includes working with subsidiaries and branches abroad.

  • Employment Type: Part time : 50%-75% position
  • Location: Tel Aviv – Hybrid

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

  • Language: Fluency in Hebrew and in English (spoken and written).
  • Accounting Software: Minimum three years of experience using Priority ERP and MS office
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or Bookkeeping Level 2 or 3 certification.
  • Work Experience: Minimum five years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in a nonprofit organization or agricultural company.

Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Record Keeping:
    • Maintain and update financial records in compliance with accounting principles and CultivAid’s policies.
    • Record daily transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and reconciliations.
    • Issue, file and send Payment requests and Income receipts to partners.
    • Ensure that financial documents are accurately stored and accessible.
  2. Bank account & Cash:
    • Prepare and process payments, including online transfers.
    • Reconcile bank statements and cash balances Weekly.
    • Monitor and manage petty cash transactions, ensuring proper documentation.
    • Maintain credit card according to CultivAid’s policy.
  3. Compliance & Reporting:
    • Ensuring all suppliers’ documents are available according to the law and CultivAid’s Policies.
    • Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
    • Ensure compliance with tax and statutory obligations.
    • Support external and internal audits by providing necessary financial documentation.
  4. Benefits & Employee Expenses:
    • Review and verify employee expense reports, ensuring proper documentation and approvals.
